The Association's footprint falls to the south of Preston and covers South Ribble Borough Council's central and western area's together with wards in Chorley to the south and West Lancashire to the west covering the area's of Leyland, Penwortham, Buckshaw Village, Midge Hall, Eccleston, Mawdesley, Croston, Bretherton, Ulnes Walton, Little Hoole, Much Hoole, Longton, New Longton, Hutton, Whitestake, Hesketh Bank, Banks, Rufford, Tarleton, Sollom, Walmer Bridge and Mere Brow.

Another successful Chorley and South Ribble Conservative Policy Forum was held this week, with members across both Chorley and South Ribble Associations coming together to discuss the Environment. We explored a number of issues with a focus on how we can prevent further damage and bring about improvements to our environment for future generations. The meeting was well attended which allowed for a lively debate.

Respect Pledge for local elections

Today (3 March 2018) the Conservative Party Chairman Brandon Lewis unveiled the Party’s Respect Pledge. The pledge will apply to all Conservative candidates standing in the local elections this year, ensuring they behave responsibly throughout the election.
