The South Ribble Conservative Association will shortly begin the process to select the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the 2015 General Election following the decision of Lorraine Fullbrook MP not to stand for re-election.

South Ribble infrastructure boost

The ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ City Deal for South Ribble and the surrounding Preston area is to be signed today by the Deputy Prime Minister, Margaret Smith Conservative Leader of South Ribble Borough Council, the Chairman of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and the Leaders of Lancashire County Council, Preston City Council.

Crime rate falls under Tories

Recorded crime is down by more than ten per cent in both South Ribble and across the UK under the Conservative led government, and the independent survey shows that the public’s experience of crime is at its lowest level since records began.
